X5 Moments

Infostream is developing a series of light hearted videos that highlight various aspect of the X5, from the viewpoint of users of the pager.

The series star "Travis", an unfortunate user who has been allocated one of our competitor's pagers, and "Jess", a lucky user who has the Infostream X5 pager.

Although meant to be a light hearted look at the circumstances of volunteers using pagers during difficult circumstances, the series has a serious backdrop - emergency services pagers have to operate in difficult circumstances - in particular they must work on those very specific times when it is a matter of life and death.  If a volunteer or an emergency worker fails to either receive, hear or respond to an alert it can mean the difference between success and failure for the response to that alert - the team may not arrive, the worker may not be warned of an impending disaster, or the truck may never roll.
